Trance was art. Today´s trance is a product. Not made with passion but by following trends. By calculating how to make a hit. Everybody copies from everybody today. I hear the same beat one million times. Back then the musicians got into trance when they made this music. This emotion is transported by the music. I don´t hear this deep emotions today.

Every generation thinks they can change the world. It's nigh impossible to change anyone's mind; neither the use of logic nor appealing to emotion works. The best thing you can do is to 'self-care.' Yes, i am a kid of the late 80's&90's and this record is one of the best trance ever made, no doubt. I am 44 years young now but i have a strong suspicion that i will spin this record when i am 84...

When they had the balls to experiment with different styles of music. In the late 90s on every “trance” track starts with the kickdrum only, then progresses from there. It gets boring when you listen to many of those tracks that start off exactly the same way. Sometimes I need a breather by coming back to these proper trax
